libidna-punycode-perl software package provides module to encode Unicode string in Punycode, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libidna-punycode-perl
libidna-punycode-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libidna-punycode-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libidna-punycode-perl *
You will get with libidna-punycode-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
